A Dream of Romance - (March 03th 2010)

Now a new Taj Mahal has risen, not a temple dedicated to love but to a desire. The desire to produce stunning indian food in fabulous surroundings but at a cost that all can afford. The Taj Mahal Restaurant in Bridge Road Wellington has become the new mecca for lovers. Lovers of great food that is.

From simple yet exquisite starters of chicken through prawn to vegetables and meat that lead the dinner to the mouth watering specialities such as Chicken or Lamb Makhani, Fish Kahari, Paneer Chilli and Tandoori Murgi Masala. also on the exciting menu is a range of dishes from the Kathhmandu Valley which includes such temtations as Shahi Stir Fried Lamb, Masa Tareko, Mogho Style Chicken and Special King Prawn Chilli Masala to name but a few.

The range of curries is not only mouth watering but is extensive with over 80 dishes from many areas of the indian continent.

Yet producing a great menu is only a part of the formula for success. If the chefs, preparing and cooking the meals, are not of the highest standard then a stunning menu is irrelevant. That is why the Taj Mahal chefs have been trained in the best restaurants in Manchester's famous Curry Mile. Their extensive training has resulted in them being recognised as master chefs and their standard of cooking is testament to that accolade.

The new look Taj Mahal is chic but comfortable. Far too often chic means cold, expensive and uninviting but, not in this restaurant. The decor is as warm as the welcome from the waiting staff, the food is sensational, the prices are remarkably affordable and the whole experience is wonderful.

Well why not try the Taj Mahal yourself and experience the pleasure.
